GoDaddy Website Builder to WordPress Migration
We move websites built with GoDaddy Website Builder to WordPress by rebuilding the pages, moving the content and replacing the features that stop working outside the builder. GoDaddy's help describes no way to export a whole builder site for use elsewhere, so we plan a rebuild and never assume a ready-made copy.
Your domain name is a separate matter from the website. We keep the two apart in the plan, so the domain changes only when you are ready.

01Choose
Do you need the pages moved, the design rebuilt, or the bookings, forms and shop replaced? Tick one part, several, or the whole project, and the plan will show what each involves.
Where this startsOur website is on GoDaddy Website Builder and we want WordPress, but I do not know what can be taken out or what happens to our domain.
02If-then
Look at the features you rely on every week. Each one needs its own answer in WordPress.

03Rebuild
GoDaddy's help documents a CSV export for store products. It covers product data only, so other store records need their own plan. A backup download sold as a separate GoDaddy product is not shown to export a builder-made site, so we do not rely on it.
The rest is rebuilt from your live pages. We copy the text, download your images and recreate each layout as a WordPress template (a saved page design that new pages reuse). Your current pages are the reference if you want a similar look. Our WordPress Website Design service covers the build.
04Test
We test on a private copy of the site. These are the checks that matter most on a builder site:
You approve the wording and layouts before anything goes live.
05Domain
Registering a domain and hosting a website are managed separately at GoDaddy, and hosting is charged apart from the domain. We ask whether you want to keep the domain where it is and change its settings (the DNS records that tell the internet where the site lives), or move it to another registrar through GoDaddy's own transfer process.
GoDaddy's transfer steps do not say what happens to the builder site afterwards. So we move nothing until the WordPress site is approved. Before launch we prepare a redirect map (a list sending each old address to its new one) and test it. We then monitor search performance, with no promise that it will stay the same. The wider process is in Website Migration Services.
Not that we can confirm. We found no full-site export in GoDaddy's help, so the pages are rebuilt in WordPress.
No. The domain can stay where it is, or move later as a separate step. We agree the choice with you before launch.
Partly. GoDaddy offers a product CSV file, which we check and import. Orders and customer details need a separate plan.
Not automatically. Each one is replaced by a WordPress tool and tested, so the old settings are not carried over.

Send us your GoDaddy address, list the bookings, forms and shop features you use, and tell us who holds the domain login. We will assess the rebuild and plan the switch around them.
