01Ownership

Decide who owns each market and location

A franchise network works when the brand team and each location know which decisions are theirs. We agree that split in writing before pages, listings or routing rules change, so a branch does not wait for approval of a phone number and the brand does not find three versions of its offer.

Brand and website structure

The brand team decides

The brand message, the page templates and which services every location can show

Each location or market provides

Requests for a change, with the reason

Languages and countries

The brand team decides

Which languages and countries get their own version, and how those versions are linked

Each location or market provides

Confirmation of local wording, currency and contact details

Location data

The brand team decides

The approved record format for name, address, phone, hours and services

Each location or market provides

Confirmed details for that location, and a prompt update when anything changes

Local pages

The brand team decides

One page per real operating location, built from a shared template

Each location or market provides

Facts only the branch knows, such as services offered, staff-approved photos and local questions

Listings and reviews

The brand team decides

Who may edit profiles and how review replies are handled

Each location or market provides

Who replies for the location and how quickly

Enquiry routing

The brand team decides

Which location receives which enquiry and what happens when it cannot help

Each location or market provides

Opening hours and availability the routing can rely on

02Rollout

Roll out in stages, not in every combination

A network can multiply cities, services and industries into thousands of possible pages. We do not create a page for each combination. A page is justified when a real location offers the service and the facts on it can be confirmed.

  1. Build the location record first: the trading name, address, phone, hours and services of each operating location, each approved by the person responsible for it.
  2. Publish one page for each real location from a shared template, then add a location-and-service page only where the branch provides that service and customers search for it.
  3. Add a language or country version only for a market you serve. Each version needs its own address on the site, links between the versions, and content written in that language.
  4. Set up a Business Profile for each eligible location. Google offers bulk verification for chains with ten or more locations, and service-area businesses are not eligible for it.
  5. Review the first stage's enquiries and search data before opening the next group of locations.

The order can change for a network that is already running, but the location record always comes before the pages that depend on it.

Questions about your next step

Can individual locations need different services?

Yes. We separate brand-wide requirements from local work and confirm what each operating location actually provides.

Do you build a page for every city and service?

No. We build a page for each real location, and add a location-and-service page only where that branch offers the service and the details can be confirmed. Pages for every possible combination add maintenance without adding information.

Can each country or language have its own version?

Yes, for markets you serve. Each version has its own address and linked alternatives, so people and search engines can reach the right one. Wording, currency and contact details come from someone who knows that market.

Can enquiries go to different branches?

We assess the territories, availability and existing systems, then scope the routing and exception process. A requested location does not automatically confirm a booking.
