Terms and Conditions

About these terms

These terms describe how we arrange services, payments, website care, cancellation and handover. The service scope and payment arrangements depend on the work agreed with you. See Business details and contact for provider information.

Services and payments

Webzstore currently arranges services through discussions, client approval, invoices and, for some services, subscriptions.

Payments are accepted by bank transfer and through invoicing and payment processors, including PayPal and Stripe. Some services have monthly recurring charges. We obtain client approval before initiating a charge. Payments under an authorised automatic subscription follow its agreed recurring billing arrangement.

For custom workflows, we review your requirements and systems before proposing a solution. The work depends on the agreed functionality and available access.

Website development timing

For a straightforward business website, we normally aim to complete development within 12–14 working days. Larger or more complex websites have project-specific timelines, which we communicate beforehand.

Your website, code and content

Clients own their website, code and content.

While we manage a website, we normally manage its credentials and carry out updates on the client's behalf. Clients may request access or arrange to move the website elsewhere. Providing credentials does not change the client's ownership.

Changes made by you, your team, another provider or anyone else you give access to can affect the website and the work needed to maintain it. If access is shared, we will clarify who is responsible for maintenance and assess any problem according to what caused it.

If changes made through access that you hold, or that you have given to a third party, break the website's functionality or cause other problems, we may charge for the work needed to investigate and repair the website. We will explain the likely cause and confirm the cost with you before starting the repair.

When we give you login details or other access, you are responsible for how they are used and kept secure, including by anyone you share them with. We cannot see or control what is done with that access, so we do not accept responsibility for hacking, malware or other harm to the extent it results from access or changes that we did not make or control after the handover. If a problem does occur, we can help investigate and repair it as chargeable work.

This does not remove responsibility for our own work, or any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Managed website care

Our managed care includes website updates, security, backups and assistance with malware or hacking incidents while we manage the website. Annual website/domain-care fees normally apply to the agreed arrangement.

For websites hosted with us on our servers, we take website backups every other day as standard. For websites with high traffic, a large number of form submissions or an online store, we take backups every day. Backups are retained for 30 calendar days.

Renewals are normally handled manually by invoice. Clients pay by bank transfer, through a payment service or by authorising a charge. A monthly subscription is a separate recurring arrangement. We normally remind clients about renewals by email or telephone.

Domains and advertising accounts

If you own your domain and we connect it to hosting, you remain responsible for its renewal. Where we purchase and hold a domain on your behalf, you can request transfer to your own account when leaving. A domain-transfer fee applies; we confirm the fee before the transfer.

For advertising accounts owned by the client, we link the account to our agency account and manage advertising on the client's behalf. The client supplies the payment method to the advertising platform and can unlink our access when the working relationship ends.

Cancellation and handover

You can request cancellation at any time by emailing project@webzstore.com or billing@webzstore.com.

For ongoing marketing, we ask for at least 30 days' advance notice where possible. This helps us plan content, images and other scheduled work. This is a request, not a mandatory minimum commitment.

When you cancel a subscription, future recurring charges stop immediately. Your service continues until the end of the subscription period already paid for. Unused prepaid fees are not refunded, except where the three-day refund provision applies or applicable law requires otherwise.

We will respond to your cancellation request by email within one to two business days. This response period does not delay cancellation or extend recurring billing.

Outstanding invoices must be settled as part of closing the account and before handover.

Clients can move their code and content themselves or ask us to assist. Our migration work carries a fee reflecting the work involved, which we confirm before starting.

Refunds and concerns

A full refund is available for a new project or subscription cancelled within three calendar days from receipt of payment, provided no work has started on that project or subscription. This refund window does not apply to renewals. Otherwise, services are normally non-refundable, subject to applicable rights and any agreed exception. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

A change of mind or a decision to use another provider does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund for authorised work already performed in accordance with the agreed scope, including work on an unfinished project. Fees properly due for that work, completed milestones and approved non-recoverable third-party costs remain payable under the agreed project terms, subject to applicable law. Cancellation does not automatically make the entire remaining project price payable.

If you believe work was not provided as agreed, contact project@webzstore.com or billing@webzstore.com. Our senior management team will review the concern and seek an appropriate resolution, with the outcome explained in writing. The Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out the review process and how payment disputes are handled. Your statutory and payment-provider dispute rights remain unaffected.
