PPC Management

Our PPC management service brings paid advertising, landing pages and enquiry tracking around the same goal. We manage campaigns with a clear view of what you sell, who you want to reach and what counts as a useful response.

Clicks alone do not tell you whether a campaign is helping. A suitable enquiry, a booked conversation and a completed order are different outcomes, and the tracking needs to reflect that.

We review the offer, existing campaigns and customer journey before recommending changes. If the enquiry form is broken or the landing page does not explain the service, buying more visits will not repair it.

03Setup

What we set up and review in Google Ads

When Google Ads management is in scope, the work covers these parts of the account.

  • Account and tracking review: For an existing account, a check of campaign structure, conversion actions, access and billing responsibility before any change.
  • Campaign build: Keyword themes, ad text, negative keywords, location and language settings, and the final page each ad sends people to.
  • Conversion tracking: The actions worth measuring, such as a form, call, booking or purchase, set up and tested. Google Ads shows a new conversion tag as unverified or inactive until it records a conversion or test event, so a test submission is part of the check.
  • Search terms and audience review: Searches that triggered ads are reviewed, irrelevant ones excluded and the audiences and locations adjusted.
  • Landing page alignment: The ad promise, page content and contact route are compared and the changes needed are listed.
  • Reporting and review: Spend, conversions and enquiry quality are reviewed together, with your team's feedback, and the next changes are agreed.

04Landing

Connect the ad to the page

The promise in an ad should be easy to find after the click. We align the message, service information and contact action so visitors do not have to search the website for what attracted them.

For a product campaign, the buying journey also needs clear availability, delivery information and a working checkout. For a service campaign, the form or call route needs to reach the people handling enquiries.

05Feeds

Product feeds and Shopping campaigns

Shopping ads depend on product data held in Google Merchant Center. Before a product campaign is scoped, we review the feed and the store it describes.

Product data

What we check

Titles, descriptions, images, price, availability and identifiers such as GTIN, brand and MPN where they apply, against Google's product data specification

What to confirm

Each product's price and availability match its product page and checkout

Feed source and refresh

What we check

Whether the data comes from the store platform, a feed file or an API, and how often it updates

What to confirm

Who owns the source, the refresh schedule and what happens when a product is removed

Inventory sync

What we check

Whether price and stock changes reach Merchant Center. Google's automatic item updates can use structured data on product pages, but Google states they are not a replacement for regular data updates

What to confirm

Out-of-stock products are not advertised and the page markup agrees with the feed

Disapprovals and warnings

What we check

The Needs attention list in Merchant Center, the reason given for each item and whether the cause is the data, a policy or the website

What to confirm

Each issue is fixed at its source, then a review is requested where Google offers one

Account eligibility

What we check

Merchant Center account status, Shopping policies, website requirements and checkout

What to confirm

Account-level issues are resolved before spend is increased

Google decides whether a product or account is approved. We can correct the data and website causes and request a review, but we cannot promise approval, reinstatement or that ads will appear. Google also warns that too many products with incorrect availability can lead to account suspension, which is why stock and price accuracy comes first. Ecommerce SEO covers product structured data on the site, and Ecommerce Management covers the wider store operation.

06Targeting

Manage targeting, spending and learning

We review search terms, audience choices, geographic coverage and available conversion information. Changes have a stated purpose, whether that is reducing irrelevant visits, testing a clearer message or improving the route to an enquiry.

Your budget and the work we manage are agreed in the scope. Advertising spend does not guarantee a number of customers, and a platform-reported conversion still needs checking against what actually happened.

07Brief

Agree the campaign brief

This planning worksheet separates the money, work and decisions before a campaign starts.

Media budget

What we agree

What the platform may spend and who can approve a change

Management scope

What we agree

Which campaigns, assets, landing-page work and reviews are included

Conversion

What we agree

The action to measure and how a test will confirm it is recorded correctly

Lead quality

What we agree

Which enquiries your team can use and how it reports unsuitable requests

Approval

What we agree

Who signs off the offer, creative and release

Platform media spend and agency management fees are separate items. Both should be clear in the proposal.

08Channels

Assess additional advertising channels

YouTube may suit an offer that needs a demonstration or explanation, provided suitable video and a useful destination are available.

  • LinkedIn may be relevant to a business audience when the targeting, message and budget fit the buying task.
  • Programmatic advertising needs a separate assessment of inventory, audience, measurement and brand-safety controls.
  • We establish account access, channel suitability and delivery scope before recommending any of these routes.

09Feedback

Tell us when enquiries concern the wrong service, fall outside your coverage or repeatedly fail to progress. That information helps us assess the campaign alongside the platform reports.

Where CRM and tracking connections are appropriate, we scope them around the data available and the permissions your business needs.

Questions about PPC management

Can you take over an existing account?

Yes. We begin with access and a review of the current setup, including tracking and campaign history, before making changes.

Do we need a new landing page?

Not always. We assess whether the existing page supports the offer and works for the intended action. A focused improvement may be sufficient. Where a new page is needed, its copy, design, build and form testing are scoped with Custom Website Design.

Can you manage ads for an online store?

Yes. Product information, store performance, stock and order handling need to support the campaign. We review the Merchant Center feed alongside the campaigns and can coordinate advertising with the ecommerce work in scope.

What if Google disapproves products or restricts the account?

We review the reason shown in Merchant Center or Google Ads, correct the data or website causes we can and request a review where Google offers one. The decision is Google's, so approval is not promised.

How will we know whether enquiries are useful?

We agree what a suitable enquiry looks like and review the available tracking alongside feedback from your team.
