03Scripts

Check each form and script, one at a time

Code that works in an HTML file may have no direct match on Wix. We go through them in order.

List every form, tracking tag, chat widget and embed.
Look for a Wix tool that does the same job.
If there is none, decide whether to replace, embed or drop it.
Record where each form message will arrive.
Test every one again on the finished site.

04Testing

Try the Wix site as a visitor and as an editor

We compare each rebuilt page with the old one on phone and desktop screens, then follow the main journeys: finding a service, opening a page and sending an enquiry. Every form is submitted and its message traced to the right inbox.

Then your editor changes some text, swaps an image and publishes. The test is whether your team can run the site, not only whether it looks right.

05Launch

Know what leaving Wix would involve

Wix says a Wix site must run on its servers and cannot be exported and hosted independently. That is worth knowing before you commit, so we explain it up front.

Your domain can stay with its current provider and be connected to the Wix site. We set up redirects (instructions that send visitors from an old address to the new one) for old pages and confirm which redirects Wix lets us create. Questions about moving HTML to Wix

Can I upload my HTML files to Wix?

We do not plan on it. We recreate the pages with Wix's editing tools, using your files as the reference.

Can I move the Wix site elsewhere later?

Not as a complete working site. You can export collection data as CSV and rebuild the rest, so choose Wix knowing that.

Will my contact form still work?

Not automatically. Each form is rebuilt and tested, and we confirm where messages go.

Is Wix better than WordPress for my site?

It depends on the features and editing you need. We compare both against your list before you commit.
