A Collection can look complete in a CSV and still arrive wrong on the page. We open at least one item for each post type and compare it with its Webflow version. We then check a filtered listing, a page that shows linked items, an image-heavy item and a form submission reaching the right inbox.
Webflow to WordPress Migration
Webflow to WordPress Migration
We move Webflow websites to WordPress by rebuilding the pages as WordPress templates and carrying your CMS content across as structured WordPress content. Webflow's code export leaves out the CMS, forms and ecommerce, so each of those needs its own plan. Webzstore assesses what you have, then plans and builds the site your team will edit.
Most teams who ask for this like how their Webflow site looks. They want to manage the content in WordPress instead.

01Choose
Choose what you want to change
Tick one part, several parts or the whole project. The plan that appears shows where each choice starts and what we confirm first.
Where this startsOur Webflow site is built, but we want to manage it in WordPress. I am not sure what comes with us and what has to be made again.
In plain terms
- Collection
- A Webflow list of structured items, such as team members or events.
- Content type
- A named kind of WordPress content with its own list page and fields.
- Redirect map
- A list that sends visitors from each old address to its new one.
02Map
Where does each Webflow Collection go?
A Collection is Webflow's database-style list, such as team members, case notes or events. In WordPress, we map each one to a custom post type (a named kind of content with its own list page and fields). The table shows the usual pairings.
Collection
In WordPress
Custom post type
What we check
Every field has a home
Reference field (a field that links one item to another)
In WordPress
Taxonomy (a way to group content) or a linked-item field
What we check
The link still points at the right item
Rich text field
In WordPress
Editor content
What we check
Headings, links and embeds, because rich text exports as HTML
Image and file fields
In WordPress
Media library
What we check
Files are fetched and re-uploaded, because the export gives Webflow-hosted web addresses
Archived items
In WordPress
Drafts or left out
What we check
Whether anyone still needs them
Webflow exports Collections as CSV (a spreadsheet-style file) for the language view you are looking at, so a multilingual site needs one pass per language.
03Rebuild
What the Webflow code export leaves behind
Webflow's code export gives you HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images. Webflow states that it does not include these parts, so we rebuild them in WordPress.
- CMS content and Collection lists, which show empty on an exported site
- Forms and the handling of what visitors submit
- Ecommerce content and checkout
- User Accounts (Webflow turned this feature off on 29 January 2026), plus site or page password protection
- Site search and any language other than the main one
Editors need attention here too. We set up WordPress roles (named permission levels, such as author or editor) so the right people can draft, review and publish. Pages are built through our WordPress Website Design service.
04Test
Test one item from every Collection
Someone from your team creates and publishes a new item in WordPress. If that is awkward, we change the editing screen before launch.
05Launch
Switch addresses without losing old links
Keep the Webflow site running until your team has approved the WordPress build. We prepare a redirect map (a list sending each old address to its new one) and test it before the domain settings change. Where Webflow addresses and WordPress addresses differ, the map carries the work.
After launch, we monitor search performance and fix broken links. We cannot promise rankings will hold. We also agree who looks after hosting, updates and form delivery once the site is live.
Questions about moving Webflow to WordPress
Does Webflow's code export include my CMS content?
No. Webflow states that the exported code excludes CMS content and functionality, so Collection lists appear empty. The Collections are exported separately and rebuilt in WordPress.
Will my Webflow forms keep working?
No, not on their own. Webflow says forms do not work on exported sites. We rebuild each form in WordPress and test where it sends. Existing submissions can be exported from Webflow separately.
Can my user accounts be moved?
Not automatically, and not from Webflow's own User Accounts any more. Webflow turned that feature off on 29 January 2026. If you saved an account export before then, or your members now sit in a third-party membership tool, we can treat that data as historical records and plan access as its own task. We do not assume logins carry over, and we do not promise a fresh export from the old feature.
Can I keep my Webflow design?
Yes, as a reference. We rebuild it as WordPress templates, and you decide what to keep or improve.
