Weebly to WordPress Migration
We move Weebly websites to WordPress by checking which pages, blog posts, images and products Weebly lets you take out, then rebuilding the rest as a site your team can edit. Weebly's site archive does not include the blog or store pages, so a full migration needs more than one download. Webzstore assesses the gaps first, then plans and builds the move.

Where this startsMy Weebly site feels limited and I want WordPress. I downloaded the archive, but the blog and shop are missing from it.

Different parts of a Weebly site have different routes. This table shows what Weebly says about each.

Weebly describes the archive as a backup or a way to recreate the site at another host, and it cannot be loaded back into Weebly. We treat it as a reference and a source of files, not a finished site. The pages are rebuilt as WordPress templates (reusable page layouts), so staff change text and images in the editor without touching code.
Blog posts are copied or recreated, and we start by asking which ones are worth keeping. Images are collected, uploaded to the WordPress media library and given descriptive text (alt text) where it is missing. Our WordPress Website Design service covers the build.
04Rebuild
A Weebly site often relies on small built-in tools. Each one gets its own replacement and its own test.
Product images need extra care. The CSV's image column holds a Weebly-specific web address, so we download the pictures and check each product against its old page.
05Test
Because the archive leaves things out, we check page by page. We list every page you can see on Weebly, tick each one against the archive and the WordPress build, and flag anything missing. Then we open a product with options, a blog post, the contact form and a page with a slideshow. We check each on a phone.
Your team approves the finished pages before anything goes live.
06Launch
Your Weebly site stays live while we build. When you approve the WordPress site, the domain settings (the records telling the internet where your site is hosted) are changed in a planned window. A redirect map (a prepared match between every old Weebly address and its new page) is tested first.
Once live, we watch search performance and repair broken links, but rankings cannot be promised. We also settle who looks after hosting, updates and orders. Website Migration Services covers the wider process.
Not as a finished site. Weebly says the archive suits an offline backup or a recreation elsewhere. We use it as reference material and rebuild the pages.
No. Weebly says blog and store pages are not included because they rely on its database. We copy or recreate the posts.
Not by themselves. The CSV's image column holds a Weebly web address, so the photos need to be collected and checked.
It is not confirmed. Weebly's pages we checked do not describe an official export of orders, customers or coupons, so we plan that part separately.

Send us your Weebly address and tell us whether you run a blog or a store. We will assess what is available from Weebly and what we must recreate in WordPress.
