Volusion to WooCommerce Migration
We move Volusion stores to WooCommerce by working from the records Volusion actually exports, then building the WordPress shop around them. We check the export samples first, because Volusion's own tools shape what can move and in what order.
Where the old store has product options, customer accounts and years of orders, we plan each record type separately instead of promising one transfer.

01Choose
Select the stage of the Volusion move you want to discuss, several stages, or the complete project. A draft plan appears to take to the call.
Where this startsOur store is on Volusion and I need to know what its exports hold before I commit to WooCommerce.
02Decide
Volusion offers several export routes, each with its own limits.

What to expect

Volusion route
What to expect
Volusion advises splitting very large imports into smaller batches
Volusion route
What to expect
XML output, up to 100 records per run, so larger stores need repeat runs
Volusion route
What to expect
Joins the orders, order details and tracking number tables, also 100 records per run
Volusion route
What to expect
Exported in encrypted form, so we check how tax details are handled
An API is a route that lets one system ask another for data.
03Transfer
Volusion stores product options through option IDs in the products table, with the choices held in a separate options table. Volusion creates the individual child products (one per valid combination) afterwards, so an exported product row may not list every variation.
04Test
We choose a product with several options and test every combination for price, image and stock. A file that imports without errors can still hold the wrong choices.
Then we run a full test purchase on the new shop, paying through the provider's test mode and checking the email and the order record. We repeat the main path on a phone and check how an existing customer reaches their order history.
05Launch
Volusion product and category addresses will differ from WooCommerce paths. We prepare a redirect map (a sheet that tells the shop where to send each old address) and test it before launch.
Customer and order exports run in batches of 100, so a final catch-up export is planned for orders placed during the build. The WordPress side also needs hosting, backups and update responsibilities agreed before launch; Ecommerce Management can cover continuing care. Search performance is watched after launch, and we do not promise it will stay the same.
No. We need sample exports and your requirements before we confirm what can move and how.
Not automatically. Volusion creates child products afterwards, so we check the export against the live store.
Not as a given. Password export is not confirmed, so we plan a reset message and check what customer records the exports provide.
Those are discussed with the destination build. We make the arrangement explicit rather than assuming it comes with the data transfer.

Send us your Volusion address and one product with several options. We will identify what the exports hold and what the WooCommerce shop must be built to do.
