Wix Stores to Shopify Migration
We move Wix Stores to Shopify by exporting the products, orders and contacts that Wix lets you take out, then building a new storefront. Wix states that a site has to run on its own servers, so the pages and design cannot be exported as a working copy.
If you also use Wix for bookings, a blog or members, we assess those separately, because a Shopify store does not replace them automatically.

Shopify's Store Migration app does list Wix as a source. Shopify describes that route as early access, desktop only and available only for certain stores, so we check whether your store qualifies before relying on it. These are the exports we work with either way.

03Rebuild
Rebuild the shop, and keep Wix extras apart
Options need attention. Shopify's Wix import keeps up to three options per product, and a product with more will arrive without its options. Where prices differ by location, the importer sets the highest price. We review both before any data is imported. Bookings, events or member areas are separate features, each with its own replacement decision.

Check the first import line by line
- A simple product, to confirm title, price, image and stock
- A product with the most options you sell
- A product whose price differs by location
- A digital item rebuilt by hand
- A test order from basket to confirmation email
- Customer sign-in tested in the chosen account mode, since passwords cannot move
Your team signs off the wording, prices and shipping rules on these samples before the main import.
05Launch
Move the domain and watch the results
Your domain can stay where it is registered, and it is pointed to Shopify when the new store is approved.
- Keep Wix running until then.
- Before launch we build a redirect list (a spreadsheet pairing each old address with its new page) and import it into Shopify.
- We check that the main product, collection and information pages land in the right place.
- Afterwards we monitor search performance, with no promise that rankings will stay the same.

Questions about Wix Stores to Shopify
Can Shopify import my Wix store automatically?
Partly, and only if your store qualifies. Shopify says some data may need editing afterwards, so we check the result.
What happens to products with more than three options?
They arrive without their options in Shopify's Wix import. We restructure them, for example by splitting one product into several.
Will my customer reviews move?
No. Reviews cannot be exported from Wix, so we plan a way to start collecting them again.
Will my Wix bookings come across?
Not automatically. Bookings sit outside the product export, so we treat them as a separate decision about a Shopify alternative.
